In November 2016, Asfar’s CEO, Sheniz Tan participated in a House of Lords’ Select Committee on International Relations’ round table providing specialist advice on Turkey, Turkish youth and the wider Middle East.
The House of Lords’ International Relations Committee has now released the new UK Government policy following this round table and wider research, entitled: the Middle East: Time for New Realism.
