Erasmus+ Inspire Europe, Istanbul 2015

Asfar’s Erasmus+ team has just returned from Istanbul following a successful Youth Exchange.

The Erasmus+ Inspire Europe brought together over 20 young people from the UK and Turkey to develop new skills, learn about their Citizenship and the EU, while gaining the opportunity to understand a different culture.

Young people practiced their English and Turkish language skills and participated in workshops on: Inter-culturalism; Human Rights; Refugee & humanitarian issues; Employabiltiy skills; Citizenship; Social Action project skills, amongst many others: all within an informal learning environment.

Participants also visited IHH Humanitariam Relief Foundation – www.ihh.org.tr

In Asfar next e-Journal, due out shortly, our Erasmus+ Project Manager has written a day-to-day travel account, alongside a few of the 100s of photos taken.
