Partners from Hungary, Israel and the UK will empower young people in their countries and in further countries from the Euro-Med region to work and act for social change and develop conscious and deliberate thinking and dialogue on a wider scale. The central applied method of the empowering process is Digital Storytelling (DST).

During the eight-month of the project (from 1st Dec 2020) dissemination seminars, international training, local events involving at least 90 young people from marginalised communities will provide the opportunity to share viewpoints openly and foster relationships between diverse communities promoting the UN SDGs, especially SDG number 10 (Reduced inequalities), number 16 (Peace justice and strong institutions) and number 17 (Global partnerships for the goals). In the second half of the project events and social actions organized by the youth will invite the local communities to take their steps towards a more just and sustainable future for all.

By the end of the project, short films and an online booklet will help the wider audience to get an insight into the process. The “Global Learning through Digital Stories” project is funded by the EU through the Anna Lindh Foundation.
