Erasmus+ Europe, Gallipoli and the Arab Revolt in London – photos

Between 14th Feb to 19th Feb, Asfar was host to a group of young people from 4 different countries as part of the Erasmus+ Europe, Gallipoli and the Arab Revolt programme.

From a London Scavenger Hunt, visits and workshops at Europe House and the Imperial War Museum, Film-making skills training, youth-led Micro-teach activities, Human Rights roles plays and Mindful eating, young people developed a wide range of new skills, inter-cultural experiences and a greater understanding of how the effects of the First World War still play a pivotal role in today’s world.

In particular, we all learned how the First World War, is viewed in different countries, such as in Macedonia and Israel, where the First World War is not recognized in the same way, as other wars and world events.

Check out the photos. More to follow soon.
